Dark Angel is full Peruvian & has rich maroon fleece with black points. During May 2010 shearing we discovered a rose gray patch on her neck! Angel is sired by true black Peruvian San Pedro, a son of Mariah Alpacas' true black "El Negro" who is now passed.
Angel's dam PPPeruvian Acomani, also passed on, was a Sollocata import who earned 8.5 points of 10 from the screeners. That is incredible considering the ACCOYO males from that same importation earned 9's! Acomani produced 9 crias:7 girls & 2 boys who are standing stud to this day.
