An extraordinary Herd Sire in luxurious True Black is now available for breeders looking for the best in the dark colors. Midnight Rider is incredibly dense with uniform crimp and loads of brightness. He placed above a number of whites in the Bred & Owned class because of his extraordinary fiber characteristics.
His fleece was shown at Nationals where he took 2nd place by only one point to the Champion black fleece. This Peruvian boy with Accoyo backing him, is now breeding and ready for your girls.
Come see for yourself what the judges are raving about.
Midnight only has a couple cria on the ground, which makes the show results of his first offspring even more impressive. Two were old enough to go to the show, and both walked away winners. Shazaam! placed 2nd behind Patagonia at the Level V 2006 Buckeye show and Shiner (a fawn out of two blacks - competing against fawns) placed third.
Update - his 2007 cria, Benchmark's Peruvian Sweet Alabama - a Dark Rose Gray -is now old enough to show and she is commanding attention! Here is her record: COLOR CHAMPION - OABA Alpacafest 2008! COLOR CHAMPION - Empire Extravaganza 2008! COLOR CHAMPION - at the Largest Show ever held - MAPCA 2008! COLOR CHAMPION - Level V - Indiana Show - April 2008 out of 14 Alabama had to compete against Indefinite Lights and Multis in the Championship Round.
