Accoyo Pluro's Ross
Medium Rose Grey, 800275, Peruvian & Bolivian
Light Rose Grey, 800275, Peruvian The son of Peruvian Accoyo Pluro. Ross is incredibly covered from head to toe with lavender colored fiber. Beautifully full fleeced and wool blind, Ross fiber is also crimpy and dense. A true stud, both in appearance and in attitude, Ross is exceptional. His dam and grand dam also carry his gorgeous line of color. His fiber statistics show an average fiber diameter of 21.1 microns with a standard deviation of 4.2 microns, a coefficient of variation of 19.9% and only 3.2% over 30 microns. Ross is the sire to the highest selling Huacaya rose gray junior herd sire in alpaca auction history. The Rebel just sold for $96 thousand at Alpacas of America''s "America''s Choice Auction" in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 19, 2002.
Please, don't be put off by the price on Tomas, it is only this low because we need to move some males. We received the results of our fiber testing for Tomas for 2012. Tomas, at nine (9) years old, has a micron count of 25.8. Tomas is a very impressive 1/4 accoyo, he is a grandson of Pperuvian Pluro, one of Australia's most prominent herdsires, and the son of Accoyo Pluro's Ross. Ross is the sire to the highest selling Huacaya rose grey junior herd sire in alpaca auction history.
Tomas has all the characteristic's you want in a herdsire: crimp, conformation and dense fiber, plus personality. Tomas is an outstanding male and he knows it. Tomas has four cria on the ground, three females and one male.
The Owner of Frontier Fiber Mill, where we use to have our fiber processed, contacted me and inquired as to whether Tomas was a breeding male and his age. She stated that Tomas's fiber was wonderful! She couldn't believe that he was a breeding herdsire with his fiber. We have more males than our fields can handle and are running out of room. If you would like to purchase this male and take him home with you to use on any or all your breeding females you won't be disappointed. His price in no way reflects his qualify, we just have to many males and we have a lot of cria from his line. We are slashing the prices on our males, once we are down to a number we can handle the prices on the ones remaining will return to their original prices.
