Cocoa has a wonderful inquisitive personality. She also has good conformation and a lustrous, well-locked fleece of a beautiful rich brown color. Her pedigree on her sire’s side includes two of the oldest names in North American suri breeding history: Powerline and Magnetic, both well-known in their time. Her pedigree does also include a huacaya, three generations back on her sire’s sides. She has, however, produced a suri cria, no huacaya, and we don’t anticipate a problem with that. Her sire, who goes back to that huacaya, has sired 20 crias, all of which are suri! Miss Cocoa’s first cria had a facial deformity and had to be put down. However, since neither Miss Cocoa’s mother nor her sisters have ever produced a cria with such a problem, we have to wonder if it didn’t come from the cria’s sire. We would be remiss in not mentioning it, however. Cocoa is presently bred to our well-known nonfading true black herdsire, Blackout, and due in August, 2005. She comes with our 10-day live cria guarantee. Cocoa is owned by Janice Ohl, of Sycamore, Illinois, and is priced to move separately and in a package of the entire herd.
