Medium Brown, 824359, 1/8 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian, 3/8 Other/Unknown
Calista is a daughter of 4Peruvian Black Magic. She is our compact cutie. Calista is a dark fading fawn with black points. Calista has blessed us with 4 girls and 1 boy in a variety of colors: black, light fawn, medium brown, rose grey and dark fawn. Calista's cria inherit their mother's easy going nature, her dense fleece, and good conformation. Calista has had trouble free births and has been a very affectionate mother to her cria.
Smoke Prince is a proven, true black male from a black pedigree. He is large boned and straight, with a handsome head. This nicely conformed, typey male has dense, crimpy fleece, and good coverage. His colorful crias to date have been either dark brown with black points, or black and are already winning ribbons in shows throughout the Midwest. He is an aggressive, but well behaved breeder. Let Prince add color, balance, and bone to your herd.
Laiyelah is a compact alpaca who has nice proportions, a lovely head, heavy bones, and a gorgeous black fleece. Although Laiyelah is one of our smaller females, she is one of our best fleece producers. Her fleece has a wonderful handle with excellent staple length. At the Great Midwest Alpaca Festival her fleece came in 3rd behind two Magical Farm's herdsires in a class of six. At the 2005 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree, Laiyelah's fleece placed second and her beautiful fleece received 9 out of 10 points for brightness and all 7 points for staple length! At seven years old, Laiyelah is still winning ribbons and placing above younger alpacas.
In addition to Laiyelah's physical attributes, she is quite the charmer. She has captured the eye of a newspaper photographer and her picture was featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. She is one of our more curious alpacas who is often intrigued by the visitors that come to our farm.
Laiyelah is an excellent mother who has produced two beautiful grey boys out of Dom Savone. Her first son, Spirit Song Vivaldi won Reserve Color Champion at the Midwest Alpaca Jamboree (SOLD). Her second cria is Spirit Song Daunte (SOLD) who has won several awards for his beautiful silver grey fleece. Laiyelah only daughter is Serenah, a beautiful black female out of Strider of the Shire. At the MN Alpaca Expo, Serenah placed 2nd in the True Black Juvenile Females and at the IAOBA Riverside Alpaca Fest she placed 2nd in the True Black Juvenile Females (class of 12)! Laiyelah"s fourth cria is a beautiful silver grey male out of Dom Savone, Spirit Song Dom Rilke (SOLD)
