| | | Pomasqui is a beautiful chestnut brown female, with an extremely proud stance and great conformation. You will notice her right away, standing alertly in the pasture. She is a top notch alpaca, and one that would make any farm proud. We are pleased to have her here and be able to offer her for your consideration. She is listed as one of Alpacas of America's all time best females!
Pomasqui is a proven female, having had four healthy cria, all are completely impressive, and top quality. In October 2003, Pomasqui delivered a strikingly gorgeous dark silver grey Peruvian, 1/4 Accoyo, Ross son! We are thrilled with him and are looking forward to watching him develop. He recently placed First in his class and received Reserve Color Champion!!!

| | | This young male has an excellent command presence and stature; he is a very DENSE light colored male with an outstanding pedigree. "PB" has very good coverage and flawless conformation. He has won blue ribbons in both full fleece AND shorn classes! "PB's" fleece is a gorgeous champagne color with light fawn highlighting along his topline and through his blanket. His dense fleece has a very nice handle, crimp and staple length. His topknot is very thick and crimpy and requires repeated trimming, which he simply tolerates! He is a very proud young male and it shows! Please review PB's fiber stats as he has matured, truly impressive!
PB's first cria have arrived and they are gorgeous! So far he has thrown 3 females and 1 male with one still on the way for this fall! Stay tuned for photos of his cria "on the ground"!

PB's Pale Comandra, aka Mandy, is a wonderful example of what we are breeding for. She is strong, straight and heavily boned, with excellent conformation. Mandy's first fleece was as soft as butter and nicely crimpy; her second fleece is coming in very dense w/ amazing staple, high luster and superior overall coverage. Mandy has her sire's temperament, which is very mild mannered, calm and easy going. She is such a lady, much like her dam. Mandy exemplifies presence with truly wonderful conformation and eye appeal. What a beauty she truly is!
Mandy's sire, our herdsire KO's Peanut Butter, has beautiful, uniform, extremely dense fleece and has maintained a low micron into his fourth year of age. He has flawless conformation and both he and her dam, Pomasqui, have outstanding presence. Mandy's dam is now in our foundation, as she has proven to us that she is a producer of quality offspring, and is a strong millker, and a reliable healthy female.
UPDATE:
We have carefully selected a superior breeding for Mandy for this spring; she will be bred to SIA Caligula's Accoyo Paladin, from the stud row of Southern Iowa Alpacas. Paladin brings in some wonderful heavily defined fawn fleece with character, density & and a fineness (under 20 microns) into his 4th shearing. To add to those great attributes he has excellent conformation and temperament in addition to an impressive full Accoyo lineage. We think these two have the potential to knock our socks off with their cria!
