Prima Nina is the first female born on our farm and what a girl she has proved to be! In her first show, the 2004 North American, she went into the show ring against some top white juveniles and took a 3rd. Then at the Big E she scored the blue and the RESERVE CHAMPION'S banner despite being the youngest female in a combined class of 14. In the yearling bred and owned competition at the 2004 Empire Extravaganza the judges declared that Nina had the "best fleece" in the class. Mike Safley had her paraded in front of the stands as he exclaimed "You can see the bundling from there!" She is exceptionally crimpy and uniform with amazing coverage.

Her cria fleece came in at 20.2 microns and now her yearling fleece has dropped to 19.1 microns! Her dam, Mistique, is a very dense 1/2 Accoyo female who has the wonderful habit of throwing cria that are superior to herself. She is also an excellent mother with generous milk. We have seen those traits have been passed on to Nina's half-sister Isabella (a Hemingway granddaughter) and we think Nina will be a great mom as well.

Nina is bred to our Fawn Color Champion and Legacy son, Pedro (AML Legacy's el Duro) with behavior testing confirmed and blood test soon, we are expecting a late August cria from this dynamite pairing. We have 2 Pedro crias on the ground, one from her mother and one from her half sister out of the same dam. These are special animals so don't miss your chance.
