This female was a part of one of the first Peruvian importations, back when age was not always recorded on the ARI certificates of the imports. Therefore, we don’t know Serafina’s exact age. We’re estimating it to be about 13 years. She is in excellent health and condition, and has been a productive, trouble-free female, producing nine crias in 10 years, many of them colored, including browns. Her last cria was born late Fall, 2004, so we decided to hold her over for breeding until Spring, 2005. Serafina is owned by Janice Ohl, of Sycamore, Illinois, and Janice has already paid for a breeding of Serafina to our outstanding nationally-known fawn full Peruvian herdsire, Peach Boy, sire of RFSS I’m A Peach, who sold in the 2003 AOBA National Auction for $49,500, and many other award-winning crias.
