Camila (Chilean Import) has been a wonderful foundation female for Pax River Alpacas. She has beautiful, medium brown fleece and a very straight and proud conformation. She is a wonderful mother and an easy birther and milker. Camila's cria's awards include: Cameo: 2nd place halter at 2002 MAPACA Jubilee; 3rd fleece and 1st Handspinners Choice at 2002 AOBA; 3rd fleece at 2003 Jubilee; and 1st fleece at Nov 2003 Alpacarama. Jakarta's awards: 4th place halter at 2003 AOBA Nationals (smallest in class); 2nd halter and Reserve Champion at Nov 2003 Alpacarama.
Razor started out his career being awarded Reserve Color Champion at the 2001 MaPaca Jubilee at only 6 months and 2 days of age! He was awarded Color Champion against very tough competition at the 2002 Kentucky Classic, and was again awarded Color Champion at the 2002 MaPaca Jubilee, the world's largest alpaca show. Razor is a 3/4 Accoyo light fawn male with near perfect conformation. He proudly exhibits a small muzzle on his very typey head, a straight topline, and substantial bone. His conformation is only topped by his very fine fiber of 20.4 microns, tight lock structure to the skin, and blinding luster. He has tremendous density, shearing 10.9 lb. annual fleece weight! Razor is the son of Peruvian Baccarat (Accoyo), the 2001 MaPaca Jubilee "Get of Sire" winner. \
Razor's 1st crias arrived Fall 2003, and they are outstanding with locks, extreme luster, and fantastic density. He produced white with fawn spots out of a beige dam, and a medium fawn out of a maroon dam.
Our Lack of Space is Your Gain - Great Price on a Fantastic Stud Will consider trading for a comparable quality huacaya herdsire or huacaya female 1 RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP 8 BLUE RIBBONS BEST LUSTER/BEST LOCKS/BEST LOCK FORMATION ************************************** Cairo is the ideal suri with a fine fleece (20.2 micron), gorgeous twisted ropey locks to the skin, shimmering luster, good density, and a cool, slick handle. He has perfect conformation, a typey head and an easy going disposition. Cairo would be ideal to breed to just about any color suri. I would expect nothing less than for him to greatly improve fiber characteristics of dark-colored girls, while producing dark colors. I would also expect Cairo to add density, fineness and sparkling luster to any of his offspring. Cairo is a spitting image of his multiple-award winning sire, Accoyo Razor. His dam consistently produces award winners with magnificient fleeces. One half sister took 2nd place halter at 2002 MaPaca Jubilee, in addition to a number of 1st and 2nd place fleece awards. A second half-sister took 4th place in a very large medium brown class at 2003 AOBA Nationals. She also took 2nd place and Reserve Champion at the 2003 Alpacarama show. Cairo sells with retention of several breedings. Half brother Pax River's Aqabah has taken 4 blue ribbons, including one at MaPaca Jubilee. Cairo's newest sister, Milan will undoubtedly follow in his footsteps. In addition to his awesome show record (below), Cairo has taken numerous blues in performance, obstacle and PR classes with our 8 year old son.
