We purchased four females bred to Solar a little over three years ago. Once their cria were born, we were so impressed, we knew we just had to have Solar in our breeding program. Each of the four cria were conformationally flawless, had crimpy soft fiber & had typey builds and heads. In addition all four were of beautiful solid colors! We have never seen a herdsire able to improve the dam like Solar can in just one generation! The four pictures of Solar's cria to the right are particularly impressive if you consider each one of the cria's dams is full Chilean. Many of Solar's male crias have been purchased as herd sires at other alpaca farms throughout the state.

Bailey is the sweetest little alpaca you'll find. She's just got one of those amazing personalities. She's the first one to come up and kiss me when I go into the barn. She'll come running out of the pasture if she sees I am around. In addition to being such a sweetheart, Bailey also has some beautiful fleece. It is registered as "medium brown", but that doesn't even come close to describing the deep, rich color Bailey is. And although she has nothing but huacaya in her heritage, she also has an incredible amount of luster. So much luster in fact, that we would be excited about it even if she were a suri. She simply shines in the sunlight. Bailey's sire, Solar de Peru, has produced some amazing cria for us, Bailey included. She is very straight and correct and has a perfect little bite.
