Blackberry is a wonderful alpaca! She is personable and talkative, but most importantly she delivers a quality cria effortlessly, year after year. She is a great Mom with plenty of milk. She even lets us know when she is ready to rebreed! Proven genetics. Her 2003 cria Christopher is a wonderful solid jet black male- the first from our breeding male Alex and we are extremely proud of him. Blackberry has done it agian! She is the easiest to care for and the friendliest alpaca on our farm. Had male cria on 9/28 sired by AAR Orion- very dense. We will be rebreeding Blackberry to SA Magnito from Chase Tavern Farm for a fall 2005 cria.

Although Cloudberry is a registered Beige, she is genetically an alpaca of color- coming from a Silver gray sire and a black dam. Cloudberry is a proven mother with offspring of many colors on the ground, ranging from silver gray, rose gray, true black, bay black and white. We often joke that Cloudberry is trying to have a baby of each color! She's an easy birther and a great protective momma with plenty of milk. Cloudberry gives her babies her dense fiber and outstanding color. We chose the matings to Cloudberry to shorten the body just a bit, to a more square frame and to add fineness.
If interested in Cloudberry, she can be bred to our blue ribbon winning male Black Woods Braddock. In 2011 they produced a maroon female with an incredibly soft handle, great bundling and the friendliest alpaca on the farm!
