This is a striking and gorgeous male with huge presence! Diablo catches everyone's attention. It is hard to beat his luster, density, and handle on any alpaca let alone a black! And he is true black, not tipped brown. His cria are on the ground and look amazing: maroons, greys, blacks and browns! This stud is a "must have" on your breeding list. He stands in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
SLT Deseret is a beautiful Bay Black daughter of two True Blacks. The great “Diablo” is her sire. She has excellent fleece characteristics and coverage. We liked her so much that we purchased Deseret when she was 10 months old. We call her “Desi” for short.
Desi was bred in December 2003 to “Graycliff Jax." On November 23, 2004, she gave birth to an absolutely gorgeous Light Beige female cria we named Opalessence. Opalessence has great coverage and curly locks that look like she was dipped in butter. At 10 months of age, Opalessence won 1st place and color champion in the September 2005 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree. The judge referred to her fleece as "Liquid Silk!" Opalessence has thrown 3 gray cria in a row!
