Little Nell's Little Dollie

Medium Brown, 137931, Full Chilean
| | | Dollie is our Grand Dam. She is a most excellent mother, providing plentiful milk and being very easy to work with even when she has just given birth. She passes on density, luster, and crimp to her babies. So far, she has consistently had a birthing pattern of 1 male, then 2 females, then 1 male, then 2 females. Her only daughter that has given birth to 3 crias thus far has also followed this pattern. We have high hopes that she passes this trait on to all of her daughters. | |

The Rootbeer Float
| |
Medium Rose Grey, 179559, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Other/Unknown
| | | The Rootbeer Float is a medium rosegray fancy proven herdsire with 10 crias on the ground. Five of these produced in just the last 3 years were rosegrays. Rootbeer passes his density, coverage and finely crimped fleece on to his progeny. He is a large-boned, square, straight male who is very eye catching. His other 5 crias are:2 dark brown, 1 bay black, and 1 true black. His sire was considered the king of color. When bred to gray, he has consistently produced rosegray. When bred to brown, he has produced rosegray, dark brown, bay black, and true black. We are offering breedings at a lower rate as he has only bred one other time outside. That breeding, to a light silver gray, produced a rosegray fancy. If you want color, coverage and confirmation, with a strong chance of producing gray, particularly rosegray, reserve a breeding with this male for this season. There has only been 1 micron analysis done which was at the age of 5 years. | |
