Mistletoe

Dark Fawn, 810957, Full Bolivian

Mistletoe is currently on maternity leave. She had a true black female on 5/14/05! This cria is not included in her sales price. A proven and attentive mom, Mistletoe is a daughter of the famous Alpacas of America herdsire, Bolivian Black Thunder. She has full coverage, from topknot to toes, of dense and crimpy fiber. Just check the consistancy in her histogram. Traditionally, she has become pregnant with just one breeding each time.
Mistletoe will be available to go to your farm after her May cria is weaned (approximately Nov 2005)or have them both as a package.

She began as a spindly legged 15.6 lb newborn, and is now, a just shy of 6 months, nearing 70 lbs. She is very vocal at dinner time and gets really annoyed when anyone tries to hone in on her dinner. Coal black like her daddy and grandaddy. She is the grandaughter of Bolivian Black Thunder and Peruvian Macusani. Thick, soft, curly fleece and a feisty, independent personality. She was handshorn in her blanket and neck areas in June, so she has a bit of an unusual haircut right now...That will even out and I have noticed that her staple length is wonderful. As her name implies, she embodies the promise of one special alpaca.

Her dam has maintained a fineness and density that is unusual for a 7 year old...a micron count of 23.3 in 2005. I have no reason to believe that Promesa shouldn't follow in her footsteps.
