Want to decrease the average micron count of your alpacas without sacrificing fiber character, density, coverage or conformation? Take a look at Xanadu Peruvian Jazz, his fiber statistics and his pedigree and you'll know he's the right one for the job. A proven male whose first cria is a light fawn with exceptional hand, Jazz produces extremely fine and uniform fiber with excellent crimp. His sire, Peruvian Felix, is well-known for his fine fibered offspring and excellent fleece weights. His dam, Xanadu Peruvian Haiku, won the Produce of Dam class at the 2001 Estes Park Wool Market. A Jazz son, PFF Quincy Jones, placed 6th in the extremely competitive white juvenile male class at the 2005 Great Western show. We are very pleased to add this elite Huacaya male to our Herd Sire list at Pine Forty Farms and will be offering limited breedings to him in 2003. Contact us soon if you are interested in his services because his book is filling quickly!
Graceful as a gazelle, Blossom is the elegant, stylish daughter of two prize winning parents and it shows in her presence! Her sire, Xanadu Peruvian Jazz, is a son of the well-known Felix, and has many blue ribbons and a color championship to his credit. Although only shown four times as a juvenile, Blossom's dam, PFF Butterbrickle, won two firsts, one second and two fourth place ribbons including a second place finish at the AOBA National Conference losing out to a Pacific Crest female. Butterbrickle is the daughter of Peruvian Knock Out. Blossom's fiber is soft, relatively fine with good crimp and density. She has produced four cria for us that have also been show-winners. We have not bred Blossom since the birth of her 2009 cria due to space and economic considerations so you can breed her to your own male or to your choice of our available males at no extra cost. We are a BVDV negative herd.
