Gremlin is a Fantasy Farms homebred who rose to the ranks of senior sire by producing quality crias, many of them grays, with good dispositions year after year after year. 2005 marks the eleventh year that Grem has stood at stud for us, and he has ladies waiting for him come spring time. Check out his lovely 2004 daughters Bianca (silver) and Tika (true black) on our sales listing. (His other daughters are scattered accross the country and no longer available.)
Fantasy's Bon Bon (beautiful face!)
Listed at $4500 by Kim Rassi & of Brooklyn Heights, OH
Stunning is the word that comes to mind when you see Bon Bon. Her grey pedigree is long and illustrious, with her sire, Fantasy's Gremlin being one of the best producers of top end greys! Bon Bon has outstanding conformation - heavy bone, great head and top knot, coverage all the way down her perfectly straight legs. She has produced five offspring - 2 blue ribbon winners and the other two placed high in the show ring, number 5 is a rose grey female (by Shaquille) who is the spitting image of her full brother Highlander! That's two for two when bred to Shaquille - rose grey!!
Her cria from Aussie Rockford may very well be my best true black cria on the farm (that's saying ALOT if you see the spectacular quality of black crias I had this year!) Her cria, Tatiana, won 1st in a group of 12 at the Ohio Alpacafest Juvi Black females! Yes .. the judge LOVED the BRIGHTNESS, DENSITY, and CHARACTER of her SOFT fleece!! My other 3 blacks placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the same group of 12!! Tatiana sold at the Futurity auction 2008 to Mak-ky Corral Alpacas of Washington state, she placed 4th at the Futurity show in TB Yearling Females. I was VERY proud of her!
Bon Bon seems to be able to let the sires fleece characterists pass right through. I have 2 of her crias at the farm and I can show you her rose grey female with Shaquille's fleece and her black female with Rockford's Fleece style.. they match the sire in both softness and style to the character -- one is VERY high frequency and super soft (Shaquille cria) and the other is lower frequency but MUCH higher amplitude yet remarkabley bright (Rockford cria). Bred to the sire of your choice, you can rely on the fleece quality produced.
Her 2010 cria out of Rio De Dinheiro is a handsome strong black male. He is straight as an arrow, full coverage, gorgeous top knot and SUPER SOFT! TB from head to toe, with no brown amniotic stains on the fiber. One can never have enough black alpacas on the farm
Awards Received Bon Bon lost her 2011 cria on Dec. 26th. He was breech and I was unable to deliver him in time to save him. He was a TB beauty. Bon Bon is open right now, and I will offer her a chance to breed in the spring. She is healthy and happy, although an older girl.
