Chipchiy's Apu has started his breeding career this Spring and we are excited. This boy is royally bred and it shows. He is tall and straight and carries himself with pride, but is easy to work with. His fiber is fantastic. Long stapled, dense, lustrous and with high amplitude crimp and superior lock structure, it bundles all over his body from head to toes. Apu, or Pu as he is affectionately known on the farm, has ribboned consistently in huge, very competitive white classes, including a first place win in the Composite Class at the Central New York Classic. Apu carries a 3 inch brown spot on his neck which leads us to believe that he will throw color. Apu has settled his first females and his first cria is due this Spring. Can't wait to see what he produces! First cria due in a few weeks!
