Two words:........ Crystal's Dam...........Enough said.
Cherica is a large boned, very dense and crimpy medium fawn girl. She has consistently produced very nicely fleeced offspring. She has produced color from white to black. Teen microns, teen CVs. and very well defined high frequency crimp with density. Cherecia is the dam of our well known 5x Champion,Peruvian Crystal. Crystal wowed the show judges and everyone else who has been fortunate to see her fleece. Take a look at our Crystal's listing and see why we are so high on Chericia. One offspring out of Chericia like Crystal and BANG!, you just hit the jackpot!
Chericia is 1/2 Sollacota, from her import dam, Alicia!
Crystal's fiber analysis was FD 19.5 SD 3.4 CV 17.4 %>30 0.8 as a one year old. This bloodline has teeny microns and low CV genetics.
Crystal's show record she accumulated in 6 months is amazing(many believe she has the best brown fleece they have ever seen) but now she is doing amazing things with her offspring.
Just look at all Crystals offspring, Our best producer. Another high caliber black this year from Cactus Jack breeding. her Rico Suave offspring is the best huacaya born on our farm! In 2008-09 Crystal gave birth to 2 TRUE BLACKs, 7Xchamp AROSA Dazzlyn, and Tuscan Black! This was a great way to follow up her first daughter,4X champion , Laila, who boasts a 17 micron at 3 years of age.
Crystal's genetics and showring dominance placed her as Co-Captain of The AlpacaRosa Fab5 Dream team.
Crystal did not start her show career until she was 15 months old, winning 5 championships and 10 Blue Ribbons after the age of 15 months, rather amazing when you think about it!
Crystal is Simply the BEST brown huacaya fleeced girl we have ever seen. Her fleece rivals an "elite-fleeced" WHITE champion. When you are here visiting the farm, be sure to ask to see this girl. Her fleece is VERY dense with extrodinary bundling and a 19 micron and 17 CV!!!!!.
Crystal has some very RARE genetics that you just cant buy in the United States. We know of only 2 full Peruvian Marcoyo females in the United States, they are both phenominal and we own them both! WE chose to breed Crystal to our own Landmark this time around. Landmark is a special boy, that not too many breeders know. Stay tuned, I think all of thats about to change.
We had much fun with Crystal in the showring, Now comes the fun with her offspring! -
