|
| | | WLK Serengeti comes from the well-respected Wilkins Livestock breeding program. She is listed as a Bay Black but has grown up to be a True Black girl with some reddish brown trim. Sera, as we call her comes, from two True Black parents. Her sire is Wilkins' famous Sudden Impact and her dam is Aysens Rain Dance.
Sera has proved to be an excellent mother with plenty of milk.

True Black, 811943, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian
|
|
| | | Bonanza is a regal acting, award winning True Black male who has produced solid color cria's: three blacks, one brown and one medium fawn. All of Bonanzas cria have been born on our ranch: two from a Medium Brown dam, one from a Black dam and two from a Medium Fawn dam. Bonanza's sire is the great "Fruzane Noir" making him a second generation True Black and proven producer of black (3 out of 5).
In September 2006 Bonanza was awarded a 1st place blue ribbon for the Get of Sire class by Dr. Julio Sumar.
A great lineage, very calm attitude, exceptionally easy to handle, produces award winning cria, and a proven producer of black. What more can you ask for? He also happens to pass on his calm attitude to his progeny. | |

How often do you see a True Black alpaca that is a third generation True Black on both sides?
Cherry Coke is that alpaca! His brothers that are breeding are producing black so we expect that CC will do that also.
Please don't think because of his price that there is something wrong with Cherry Coke. I simply cannot keep all my related TB males and my TB herdsires both produce a very high percentage of TB cria's. Therefore, I must put some of them at what I believe is an attractive price for someone interested in the potential for adding color to their herd.
Not only does he have three generations of Black on both sides, but the only one of his grandparents that is not Black is Medium Brown. Look at the pictures and see his great coverage, including his legs. Cherry also has that great suri head - covered with fleece. He even has thick fleece growing on his ears.
Cherry Coke has the following bloodlines: Fruzane Noir, Sudden Impact, and Aysen. That is BLACK packaging!
His luster is just unbelievable! Just look at the un-doctored photos. He is a nice size male (175 pounds) with great coverage. If you want to add a junior herdsire that really has the ability to push nice Black fiber in your herd then you should seriously consider this alpaca. Gosh for the price of a black breeding you can own your own black stud!
Cherry Coke has also inherited his sire's regal and calm attitude. He is a very nice alpaca that even kids can handle easily.
Cherry looks so much like his blue ribbon 1/2 brother Cronan and his sire that we need to check their microchips to tell them apart.
For the price of a decent breeding you could have him puting crias on the ground on your farm.
Awards Received 2007 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree Spin off Competition, 2nd place. First place went to one of our other black entries who also was selected for the Spinners Choice Award.
