Belleza has the biggest topknot I have ever seen on a female alpaca and more importantly as a foundation hembra she has great mothering instincts and has been extremely attentive to her Mr. Antonio daughter, Bella Antonia, born June 14, 2004. Her second cria, a Bravado daughter we named Bravado's Alianza Beauty, was born In June. Photos of this cria are available on request. She has been rebred to Maplebrook Bravado and will be confirmed by ultrasound in about two weeks. Her due date is July 7, 2006. She is available for sale after pregnancy is confirmed. She is the prototype of a good production female. Just look at Bella Antonia and Bravado's Alianza Beauty to see what she can do.
An impressive Full Alianza Peruvian, Bravado is our new foundation herdsire. This young guy is fineness personified in a perfect conformational package. And just look at the beautiful bundling in his fleece. He is the result of combining the finest and most proven Peruvian alpaca genetics in North America. Bravado's sire is Bueno, owned by Mike and Robin Tierney of Maplebrook Farm.
On the other side of his pedigree, Bravado's dam, NWA Ltd., Marcie contributes another line of proven superior genetics. Her sire was the world famous Hemingway.
Hemingway is known worldwide and Bueno has produced over 100 winning offspring to date, and we think Bravado is one of his best. We are certain that Bravado will go on to sire as many champions as his father, and one of them could belong to you! His first son, Bravado's Hurricane, was born in September, and his first daughter, Bravado's Diamond, was born in November. Both have fantastic fleeces! But don't take our word for it, c

She is truly a Beauty. No genetic fluke, Beauty is what she was bred to be: a top tier alpaca. Shown only a few times, her type, correct structure, and SUPERB fleece are still evident today - at over SEVEN years of age!
Sire - Bravado has proven his worth as a sire, consistently adding both density AND fineness to his offspring - plus he puts his typy head, stylish conformation, and showy crimp on his progeny, time after time. Best of all, the Bravado get are maintaining fineness as the years go by.
Beauty is a fine example of Bravado's offspring.
Dam - Belleza is an easy breeder, gives birth without difficulty and makes plenty of milk, and Beauty is following in her footprints as a reliable brood female. Belleza is a half Peruvian, half Bolivian that has proven her worth by putting a good cria on the ground, year after year.
Belleza's sire was a pure Alianza line male, making Beauty 3/4 Alianza and 1/4 Bolivian. Belleza and Beauty are living proof of how well the Bolivian lines 'nick' with the Peruvians!
