Sarafina is a beautiful dark silver gray, with a fine fleece. She has great conformation, with a large, but feminine bone structure. She is very friendly and very playful. She loves to be the center of attention. She is a bit lacking in density, but with the right breeding choices should produce some lovely offspring. She bred easily and became pregnant on her first breeding which resulted in a light brown little girl that is as sweet as she is lovely. Sarafina was a great mama as soon as she figured out why this little thing was following her around. She is currently bred to an Invincible son. Can't wait for this one! Update! Sarafina delivered another girl! This one is white (?!) and very crimpy and fill of spunk. Sarafina has been rebred to Sequential who should add his crimp, density, and heavy bone to 2009's cria. Update! Sarafina delivered a gorgeous white male, who indeed, is dense, crimpy, and conformationally perfect. She has now been rebred to Aussie Rockford. Maybe she will finally give me gray! Amazingly, at four years old, she is still holding at around 20 micron. Her fleece was processed with some very fine black fleece (see Magdalena) and made the most scrumptious yarn you have ever seen.
