A dark maroon boy, Copper has very dense, lustrous, crimpy fiber that feels cool to the touch. His dark feet and face reveal his black heritage, which he can pass on to his crias. We purchased Coppers' dam, Milkee Way, because of her extremely dense blanket, which he has inherited. With the blue-ribbon-winning black genes from Black Jack Jax, and that wonderful hand to his fiber, perfect conformation and bite, the Copper Kid looks like he will be a good complement for the right breeding program. Copper has the quiet temperament a breeder likes to see in a stud and he has matured very nicely. He apprenticed himself to our black herdsire, Knight of Camelot, taking close note of all proceedings and preparing for his own career as a breeding male! Now The Copper Kid has 4 crias on the ground- the first one, a pretty maroon daughter, is all that we had hoped for. She is pretty and sturdy, with great proportions and soft, curly fleece. His second cria is also a girl- a pretty mostly white girl with brown accents, out of a white dam. Our TB Jet just birthed a fawn male with soft dense curls. Copper has beautiful front legs with full coverage, just like his sire, and a wonderful hand to his very dense fleece.
We have too many breeding boys here, so some must go- but we would like to retain a couple of breedings with Copper's sale.
There is a pending contract on Copper Kid.
