Dawn is a large boned, well conformed alpaca who produces crias with lustrous, well locked fiber. All of her crias have that wonderful Bolivian drape that "swooshes" as they walk! Despite her white appearance, Dawn gave us a medium fawn girl in 2005 and produced a light brown boy in 2003, so we know the color is in there somewhere! We are quite impressed with Dawn's ability to produce amazingly fibered crias with great size and vigor.
While Dawn has been one of our favorite producers, we try to keep our genetics diverse. We have both Dawn and her daughter up for sale, (we've sold her 2006, 2007 and 2008 offspring!), but we will retain Dawn or Bella when just one of them sells - ie: we do want to keep these genetics in our breeding pool!

Due to owner conflict, Solstice never got to show in a halter class - and what a shame, because the first time his fleece was entered in a fleece show - the largest suri fleece show in the country - he got a blue ribbon!
