Are you looking for true black? If so, Chiquian is your girl. Not only is she true black, as her photos show, Chiquian also has great conformation. Chiquian has a very strong personality. She is the queen of the pasture. She consistently throws grey when bred to grey. She just had another grey female in 2009.
Chiquian has thrown silver grey when bred to silver grey and twice thrown true black when bred to true black. Her 2006 cria is a Dark Silver female, Snowy Mae, is just fabulous with fiber soft as butter and a sweet disposition.
Awards Received Chiquian was never shown, but her 2004 cria, Ampato Frenzal's Little Ann, won a fifth place ribbon in her first show, the 2005 Western Ohio Triple Crown. She was one of the youngest in a large class, she also took a 2nd place ribbon for her fleece @ Alpacafest 2005. She also placed 4th in the halter ring at Spring Fling 2006 in Neenah Wisconsin.
