| | | Lochinvar was judged as one of the top white males in the country in every show. With a first place as a juvenile at MAPACA and a first place award at the VA Classic in the mature male class, Lochinvar demonstrates his long-term quality. His fiber is luxurious--crimp, lock structure, luster, and density. His bone density, fiber coverage, and colored genetics from his sire are added bonuses for the breeder looking for a herdsire to add improved fiber without sacrificing color. Lochinvar's sire was 2nd in Get of Sire at the large 2000 Eastern Alpaca Jubilee and his dam has consistently placed high in every Produce of Dam class she has entered. Lochinvar was one of our entries that brought us 3rd in Breeder's Best at the 2002 AOBA National Conference. It's obvious from his awards in large, very competitive white classes that he has outstanding characteristics to offer in a breeding. We believe with the history of his medium brown sire, the potential to bring color and these fine | |

Boudica is just what we were hoping for when we repeated the breeding of Boudicea and Lochinvar. Last year we were delighted with the quality of the male that resulted from this breeding. This year we got a carbon copy of our award winning jr. herdsire, but in the female version! Boudica is covered in crimp from top knot to tail, is soft and dense, and has the bone density of her parents. Boadicea, her dam, is our AOBA 2000 Black Reserve Color Champion and MAPACA blue ribbon winner. Boudica's sire is Lochinvar, a white male out of a medium brown sire. Lochinvar took a blue at MAPACA and placed in over 10 shows against the top white males from across the country. We thought he was pretty special as he was growing up, and now his cria have confirmed his value to us. Boudica, named for a Scottish warrior queen, is the best of both her dam and sire.
