Alacante has settled his first females. He combines ideal conformation with rich red-brown fleece, full of crimp and with great density. He sheared the heaviest blanket on our farm this spring. We can't wait to see cria with this fantastic color. As if his own color wasn't exciting enough, his dam is rose grey. His Camilio and Guellermo bloodlines add to his appeal. Alacante's first offspring are on the ground and are spectacular. Everything from silver gray to black. His crias all have had super fine fleeces with tight, low microm histograms ranging from 15 to 22 microns.
Every time I check my AN stats, I see that Susannah is getting a lot of interest. You're right to be interested in her. She's a stunning girl with beautiful crias to attest to her quality. We own her dam and her brother, so we're willing to let her go. This girl will do great things for you! Nannie has given us some of our best alpacas. We paired her with Alacante, whose crias are every color under the sun, and usually very fine. Enter Susannah, who combines the best of both bloodlines, Camilio and Augusto. She has the excellent growth of all of Nannie's crias,and her fleece is very dense and very, very soft. Susannah has had 3 crias, 2 light fawn and 1 black, with lovely heads and abundant soft, crimpy fleece. She's an excellent mother.
