Medium Brown, 166839, Full Peruvian

|
| | | The splash of white on her face and front feet, makes 4Peruvian Chiquitita ("Chiqui") unique. Although she was originally selected by the importers for their own herd, we managed to add her to our farm.
Chiqui's has had four crias of deep color, including multiple maroon crias. She is a problem-free birther, a very good mother and has lots of milk.
She has solid conformation and is a larger-sized suri female. She passes beautiful luster and good lock structure in her offspring. | |

Dark Brown, 821533, Full Peruvian

| | | Full Peruvian Vivaldi is a multiple first place winner, with blue ribbons in both halter and fleece classes. He also has won a blue ribbon for "Best Hand" -- roughly the equivalent to a Grand Champion ribbon in fleece competition -- since it is the judge's #1 choice out of all the fleeces at a show.
Vivaldi displays attitude, presence, and a strong suri phenotype. He has a strong conformation, correct proportions, a square back, straight legs, even hocks, and a good bite.
With definition to the skin, Vivaldi's dark maroon pencil locks offer curls of a rare color. In fact, maroon is so rare in alpacas, that the color was officially removed from the ARI color chart due to insufficient alpacas being registered as possessing the color (ARI now includes maroon alpacas in the brown category). The most expensive suri alpaca at public sale -- who sold for over $250,000 -- is maroon.

Allegheny Peruvian Red Barchetta (Red) is an impressive, dark maroon full Peruvian male looking to make his show debut this spring. He boasts the true maroon coloration of his well known, multi-BLUE ribbon winning sire, Peuvian Vivaldi. Out of Vivaldi's male offspring, Red may best represent a young Vivaldi. He has Vivaldi's tight pencil locks to the skin and bright luster characteristics. Red's black face is also a trademark of his sire. Red also has similar conformation to Vivaldi -- correct, square and proportional. And we think he'll preform like his sire, too. Each of Vivaldi's offspring that we've shown has won a ribbon, includin multiple BLUEs.
Red's dam is a maroon/reddish brown female that has produced several colored crias for us, including other maroons. Her offspring have done well in the show ring.
Red Barchetta, named after the European sports car, zips around our pasture at full speed making tight, hair-pin turns in and around the herd. But this guy's more than just something to look at. We think he'll be an excellent herdsire contributing to your farm's success for years to come. Hurry before Red speeds away.
