NWA, LTD PERUVIAN HANNAH is a cross between the genetics of SNOWMASTER, DON JULIO, and HEMINGWAY.
Hannah's exquisite first fleece had an AFD of 13.2-Yocum-MoColl's tested it twice because, they emailed, "We don't see many alpaca fleeces this fine." Her 2006 Histogram is as follows: AFD 21.9 SD 3.9 Cv 17.8 %over 30 3.3 which is virtually unchanged from last year. These are the fiber genetics we are all breeding for! Her bright, incredibly soft white fleece has 8 tiny crimps per inch and it's character has held though many shearings. She has the most beautiful head. Her temperment is gentle and curious.
Hannah first cria was a healthy beautiful female cria(9/24/06)who weighed in at 15lbs. Her name is ZION'S PERUVIAN HOLLY and she already has incredibly bright crimpy popcorn style fleece with a hand as soft as silk and the Zion head. Hannah took to motherhood right away and was very attentive to her first cria as you can see in the picture.
Hannah gave us Holly's full brother Hawthorne. He has a totally different fleece style with fine frequent crimp. His 2 year old histogram is 17.2, 3.4, 19.7 and 0.9!W Hannah has a small fawn spot on her shoulder so we weren't surprised when Hannah gave us a true black cria with no white fibers. Whatever the color Hannah makes beautiful babies and has been a wonderful production female for us. Interestingly Hannah, her dam and her daughter have thrown very fine, dense Silky-fleeced alpacas in the past.
This is one female that we thought we would never put on our sales list but we need to bring in some new genetics to our herd-we own her dam-so here she is!
2011-It's a Girl! Accoyo Royal Treasure's first cria Hanalei, dazzling crimpy fleece. We just sold her fleece which was Graded a 1.
