| | | Black Thunder is an incredible glossy jet black pure Bolivian Huacaya herd sire with never-ending show presence and a strong, sturdy stature. His frame is surrounded by rich, black, crimpy fiber, with coverage that will absolutely amaze you. The only black her sire from Alpaca of America’s 1997 imports; he is one of a kind. Black Thunder has already proven himself in producing a vast array of superior black cria. By 2002, he has produced 97% colored offspring, with a huge majority of black (and even gray!) One of Black Thunder’s astounding traits is his ability to produce gray when bred to gray – talk about versatility! His fiber statistics show a micron count of 22.7 with a standard deviation of 4.3 microns, a coefficient of variation of 18.9% and only 4.3% over 30 microns. | |
