HDF Accoyo Natalie
| |
Light Fawn, 1220599, Full Peruvian
| | | Natalie is another full Accoyo beauty with extremely soft, dense fiber, a perfect bite and a gentle-as-a-lamb personality. Just check out her 2007 fiber stats and you can see just how fine she is for a four year old breeding female. Her AFD was 21.0; SD 3.8; CV 18.1 and 2.1% greater than 30.
This daughter of the dark fawn full Accoyo, Leon, has been bred for a spring 2008 cria to our light fawn full Accoyo herdsire, Royal Avenger. Royal Avenger is a Royal Fawn son who is producing champion after champion in the showring. There's no reason to think that this one will be any different! With her sire being medium fawn and Royal Avenger with his color, this may just produce a fawn cria in 2008.

HDF Accoyo Mozart
| |
White, 833378, Full Peruvian
| | | Mozart is the epitome of a full Accoyo macho. He is large boned with a beautiful head, wonderfully crimpy, soft-handled fiber and EXTREME density. His density was validated by his score of 19.75 out of a possible 20 in the MAPACA fleece competition in April 2005 where he was awarded a first place. For those seeking the possibility of color, he has a brown spot on his left side that increases the chances that he will produce color.
Typically, when you have such tremendous density, you sacrifice fineness. As a five-year-old breeding male, Mozart has maintained a 23.6 micon.
For those of you who realize the correlation of testicular size of the sire and the reproductive life of his female offspring, our vet, who is a camelid specialist, remarked that, "Mozart has the largest testicular mass of any male I've seen".
His cria have been beautiful with bright, wonderfully crimpy fiber and right-on-the-money conformation.

Duke University had its star for the 2005-2006 basketball season and that was J.J. Redick. The star of Accoyos of Virginia for that same season has turned out to be Accoyo Redick.
He's got correct conformation and as a youngster had soft rolling skin. So much so that when he stood upright his neck looked like corrugated pipe, with its wrinkles. That has translated into extreme density. The density coupled with his dam's fineness should produce an outstanding young male.
As a condition of the sale, we would like to retain four breedings to Redick.
