Medium Rose Grey, 825858, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Other/Unknown
Bandit's an excellent young Rose Grey male whose fine, crimpy fleece forms distinct bundles. He has good coverage with crimp extending all the way to his toes! He's got a beautiful distinctive head that he's passed on to his offspring. Bandit started breeding at two years of age and his first crop of stunning crias hit the ground in 2004. Three of his offspring are greys produced by fawn females and they are winners. His son, Bisturi, was awarded first place and Reserve Color Championship at the 2005 Great Western show while PFF Bandit's Calico Rose took 4th place in her class of 13 juvenile female silver greys. A grandson of Peruvian Drambuie, we are standing him to a limited number of outside females in 2005.

Bandit's Shady Lady has the flashy head of her grey sire, Smoky the Bandit; the conformation, presence and coverage of her dam, PFF Sylvia and maternal grandsire, Acero Marka's Wooly Bully, plus a fine fleece and excellent bite. With a plethora of white huacaya females listed for sale, what sets Bandit's Shady Lady apart from the competition? Her pedigree goes back to Peruvian Olympus and Drambuie and has lots of greys and blacks! Take a look at her full sister, PFF Calico Rose, in our foundation herd and you'll see her potential. They both have the same pedigree so we think if Shady Lady is bred to the right male she'll produce some mighty fine greys. Then check out her grey half brother, Bisturi, under our herd sire list. Bisturi who was also sired by Smoky the Bandit, has multiple halter and fleece show championships to his credit and he's the sire of Shady Lady's second grey sister, PFF Sybil. Shady Lady's first daughter by Pankara (our Peruvian Royal Fawn grandson) is a solid medium brown who has her dam's excellent conformation and the fine fleece characteristics of both parents. To avoid a cold weather birth, Shady Lady was not bred back until 2008 when she was again bred to Pankara for a July 2009 cria. Pankara's 2006 fiber statistics at FOUR years of age were: AFD = 18.8um, SD = 4.4. CV = 23.4 and %>30 um = 2.4.
UPDATE: Shady Lady gave birth to a handsome fawn male by Pankara on 7-30-09. He has his sire's signature "popcorn" style fleece and he's already quite full of himself! Shady Lady is available as an open female with her 2009 cria at side for a mere $5000....BUT her price will go back up to $6000 this Fall after she is bred and confirmed pregnant. If you buy her now, you can save yourself some cash and breed her to your own male!
