| | | Jenny is the pride and joy of our foundation herd dams. A beautiful white Hemingway daughter whose dam is one of Julie Skinner’s Snowmass dams, Peruvian Duet, Jenny is a recent acquisition from Sharon Loner at Mile High Alpacas in CO. She has thrown many beautiful cria who have taken numerous color championships. She is a wonderful mom who imparts not only wonderful fleece and conformation, but a gentle nature to her crias. She is currently confirmed bred to Castano Bay, who has many color championships for both halter and fleece shows.
Jenny’s August 06 cria will be a full sister to Mile High Calendar Girl who recently sold for $30,000.00. One of Jenny's cria could pay for them both!

Yes, it's true; Mile High Alpacas has agreed to sell Maple Brook Fandango to Eloise Robbins of Gold Standard Alpacas located in Pennsylvania. Fandango will remain at Mile High Alpacas - Colorado through 2006.
Peruvian Fandango continues to bring us Champions and Blue Ribbon Winners. Fandango also has a very HIGH rate of throwing female offspring. Fandango is a very handsome and masculine stud that stands proud and straight. His head and legs are his most attractive feature. His body structure is very robust and he carries a full topknot and extra large bone structure. His cria so far are drop dead gorgeous and every one is show quality! I would run Fandango through my herd year after year if it wasn't for the need to diversify. See one his incredible offspring below, "The Rev. Mr. Black". AWESOME! Also he has sired 11 Color Champions for our farm alone!

March 2009: MerryMe is going to Snowmass Alpacas! We couldn't be happier for MerryMe or for Julie Skinner who knows just what kind of quality alpaca this dam is! We will be breeding her to Travesura's Altiplano Treasure and sending her north to her distinguished new home in the fall.
Her daughter Melody and her son Kachina Skye will remain on our foundation herd.
MerryMe is a proven, white, full Peruvian dam out of Snowmass Jenny Song (Hemingway and PPPeruvian Duet) and sired by Maple Brook Fandango (a Bueno son). She is a product of Sharon Loner's Mile High Alpacas breeding program. She has given us an AWESOME Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon daughter, and a beautiful PNA Isaac son. (Look for MerryMelody and Kachina Skye's listings.) Skye is too young to be shown yet, but Melody has done very well for us in the show ring.
MerryMe is an attentive mom with plenty of milk, has no problem with giving birth, and was settled with her current pregnancy with one breeding. She'll be 6 years old in June, and she is in the prime of life; young enough to give you years of beautiful crias, but old enough to know her job!
Nov 07: MerryMe had a curly pure white boy with no help at all! Soleado's Kachina Skye weighed in at 16lbs, and gained 6/10ths of a pound in less than 24 hours. MerryMe is a wonderful and attentive mom with loads of milk. Awesome job MerryMe!
JULY 07 UPDATE: MerryMe made us wait, but it was worth it in the end! She had a beautiful Poseidon GIRL! Baby weighed in at 21lbs and is almost as tall as mom! Both are doing fine.
