Micron Count 2006: Six Years Old: 25.32; 5.41 SD; 21.41 CV; Spin fineness 24.7 u; Comfort Factor 84.9%; Curve 64.6 deg/mm. Evaluator: "High curvature! Good uniformity...." Leila has gorgeous, crimpy and brilliant fleece. She has won several First and Second Place ribbons for her fantastic fleece. Her offspring carry on that quality.
It's all about the fleece! Liela is great mom, producing conformationally-correct crias. She passes her lush crimpy fiber to her crias. Leila is a tall, strong dam who has produced three beautiful ciras--one boy, two girls. She passes color. Her male offspring, Spoiler, is medium fawn and he sired a fantastic gray cria with a brown dam in 2006.
Liela has wonderful fleece, with bright white color, tight crimp and uniformity throughout. She has a dark fawn spot on her neck.
She is currently bred to Pedro Armendariz. Together, these two have produced two fantastic crias, which carried forward Leila's crimpy fleece and Pedro's unbelievable density.

Service Sire: Awards Received June 2006, Estes Park Wool Market fleece competition, Third Place (our dam Leila took First Place in same class). First Place Alpaca Western Extravaganza Spin-Off, 2006. Third Place Alpacapalooza Spin-Off, 2006. His first cria, Lilly, took Fourth in full-fleece halter as juvenile at Northwest Showcase 2005, and she took Third as Yealing at Alpacapalooza 2006, where the judge commented on the "brightness throughout" of her dense fiber. Her conformation, like Pedro's other crias, is excellent, including perfect bite.
