Paris is the daughter of Fawn Duke. She has wonderful softness, a great handle and silky feel, but no crimp. Because of her Suri background, she has NO scaling on her fleece, and passes this onto her crias. The fiber mills just love her fleece!
Paris lets through the sire's conformation, and fleece structure, while retaining her fineness and silky sheen. She's quite a lady with wonderful mothering instincts, and has plenty of milk.
Paris' 2007 cria, Apollo's Griffon, sired by Patrick's Mark, took 2nd place in his division at the MAJ show (int'l rules). Dr. Julio Sumar's comments on Apollo: "This is what we all should be breeding for".
Paris' 2009 cria, out of Rolling Oaks Timber (Snowmass Expression's son). Paris gave birth June 18th to a fleece dynamo. He was born so fast, we named him Rocket. Rocket's fleece is shiny and tightly crimped.
Paris' 2010 cria, out of our own Sunburst Peruvian Amadeo, produced a beautiful fleecy white girl. CeCe was born 7/14, on our daughter's birthday.
Paris delivered another beautiful whilte female, Chloe, who looks just like her sire, Maxito. Chloe was up an running around before drying off from birth. Pearly white, extra-fine fleece, with straight legs, and she's very friendly.
We had planned on giving Paris the next year off, but she and herdsire Maxito had other plans, so she may be due this fall, we will see.
