7120 Peruvian Benita

Light Fawn, 835170, Full Peruvian

This stunning 1/2 Accoyo Cordero daughter is a tall and regal alpaca that has had 2 offspring with a 3rd on the way. She has produced a medium brown daughter Marina who we also own. The other is a light fawn girl that has incredible fleece and was sold as a very young cria because of it. Both of these girls have excellent coverage, great bites and beautiful fleeces. Benita is pregnant by our 1/4 accoyo stud Nico. The cria will be a 3/8th accoyo with Cordero, Peruvian Jazz and Felix as grandsires. We expect a fawn cria since Nico comes from sires that usually let the dams color thru or "color up" the dams color. He himself has some fawn markings. The fleece on this offspring should be extremely nice with both parents exhibiting very consistant fine fleeces and Benita especially adding great density. Nico & Benita are taller, very correct with nice bone. Benita would sell with a breeding to be used within 2 yrs, to any of our studs (we'll have 3 in 2007)Benita has dark pigment an

  Snowbelt Curly Clay
    True Black, 824585, Full Peruvian

RARE TRUE BLACK FULL PERUVIAN, 1/4 ACCOYO....AWARD-WINNING OFFSPRING! Clay represents a truly NEW bloodline for high quality black genetics. As Clay is unrelated to other full Peruvian true black males, he offers a new option for those who wish to add black full Peruvian genetics to their herd.

He is substantial with a strong, heavy-boned frame. His coverage is remarkable with fleece from his topknot to his toes. His extremely dense fleece maintains well-defined crimp from skin to tip and extends down the blanket to his belly and legs and into his topknot and tail. Clay has an excellent bite and attractive short-muzzle.

Best of all, Clay is a perfect gentleman and extremely easy to handle. His first two crias hit the ground last spring and are terrific! Look for them at the 2004 shows -- SNOWBELT CHOCOLATE THUNDER (2004 Mapaca winner!)and SNOWBELT ZOE (both pictured at right). Both crias exhibit an improvement in fleece quality over that of their dams (both fa

Marina has a sweet, curious, playful personality. She is compact like her Sire Curly Clay and very closely resembles her 1/2 sister Jana Rose, our champion msg. We didn't own Marina during her show years at a mostly suri farm, but would have shown her if we had as she is darn near perfect. Her black accents highlight her gorgeous brown fleece and she is extremely soft. She has amazing little bundles of high frequency crimp along with super density and total coverage.
Update: Marina delivered a beautiful female Adonis cria on 10/9/07. Named Adair she has her own listing now.
Marina was rebred to Adonis and had a black male, Jedda that has incredibly soft fiber. Look him up.
Price does not include '09 cria. Marina has been bred to JJA Goldsmith's Orofino a wonderful 7/8th accoyo who did well in shows and may produce gray or black with this girl! His sire Goldsmith passes gray and Marina's sire is TB.

Orofino took 2nd behind Hobby Horse Farm at the Kentucky Classic. Judge said he didn't split between fineness and density as they were the same. Split was that Hobby Horse had more of the overall "look", Orofino was brighter. We'll take it!
