Velvet Bar is a proven mother who produces cria in various dark colors. She is a non-fading blue-black color. When bred to black, she produces BLACK. She is tall and elegant with a long graceful neck and good proportions. She is a result of the combined breeding programs of Tell Tale Alpacas in Canada along with that of Bayes Alapca Ranch, also in Canada. These two farms represent some of the top show quality breeding programs in Canada.
She also has 4 recorded generations of her heritage with ARI. Her lineage hails from Canada, New Zealand, and Chile. She has excellent conformation. She produces plenty of milk and births easily.
Her 2006 cria, True-Black "Epiphany at Midnight", was busy winning ribbons in the showring in '07 and will continued into '08 until breeding time.
Velvet is one of those production females that you never have to worry about. She has a perfect bite, good manners, is easy to handle, and produces ribbon-winning offspring.
**August 22, Velvet gave birth to a gorgeous dark red-brown cria. She has plenty of milk and an IgG of 2687 is just the beginning. Her cria is pronking with the herd and growing rapidly. Welcome Rusty.

She's a doll to handle and would be great for starting your herd. May 1 2012, each time I do hers health, I am thankful to have such an easy girl to work with.
