***8/31/09 Willow delighted us by delivering a beautiful shiny bright, white female cria out of our herdsire Travesura's Altiplano Treasure - pictures coming soon ***

Looking for some outstanding genetics? Well you’ve found them in Desert Willow. Her registration is full of famous names including her two grandsires 4Peruvian Legacy and Dom Lucilio. A ½ share in Legacy sold for $750,000 and a ½ share in one of his sons sold for $500,000. Dom Lucilio sold for over $400,000 and is the sire of many spectacular offspring. Willow’s Sire Shockwave is a star in his own right. His fleece scored a perfect 20/20 at the 2005 AOBA National show for fineness and handle (as an adult male) and placed second, and in 2006 he again placed second for fleece at the AOBA Nationals. Willow herself has a fine, bright, consistent fleece and is conformationally very correct.

Willow delivered her first cria on June 13,2008, a shiny, silky, beige male out of our dark brown herdsire Tobiano. Born during a sandstorm we are naming Willow's cria Windrush Desert Sandstorm (Stormy). Willow birthed easily and has proven herself to be an excellent dam, Stormy has grown up to be a stout young male with a broad chest.

She is currently being bred to our handsome award winning herdsire Travesura's Altiplano Treasure for a fall 2009 cria. The resulting cria will bring together the bloodlines of Altiplano Gold, Legacy, and Dom Lucilio, Bueno, AND Caligula via his grandsire Presidio! Wow, what a collection of powerful genetics!

All this and Willow is one of the sweetest of girls too. Don’t wait to act on Willow, with some of the most sort after genetics in the country she surely won’t be with us for long.
