Chiquita was the first rose grey import to enter the United States. She does not have an official DOB on her registration, however, I would say she is about 9 or 10 years old. She is a small framed girl who takes the lead out in the pasture everyday. She is at the top of the pecking order and takes no "crap" from anyone! Chiquita has perfectly straight legs, full coverage to the toes and no spots! She also has no tuxedo and is covered in soft, crimpy rose grey fiber.
Chiquita is a great mother. She has plenty of milk and watched over her cria in the most protective of ways. She is also an easy breeder and can cary a pregnancy and nurse well into the pregnancy. Her offspring seem to grow larger than her, so her smallish frame may have been environmentally caused from lack of "the best" nuitrition on the altiplano. Chiquita has given us three beautiful females - see Rosie Godiva (Breeders Edge Auction 2005),Ganache Florida Breeders Auction 2006) and in December 2006 she
McGwire is clearly one of the richest colored full Accoyo males in the United States. Sired by Accoyo Victor, whose fleece and offspring are Legendary, he glows like a light is shining from inside his fleece. His density and staple length pull together for some of the most magnificent fleece weights on record (14.5 lbs--he is shorn every six months now). At age six, his CV is 16.2, micron 24 with an absence of guard hair. With over 30 cria, he is throwing silver and rose grey out of solid dams, many black cria, and often darkens the dams color. The crimp, bundling and shine is profound. Contact us for his traveling schedule, and book a breeding to McGwire today!

My Vintage Alyssa Renee ( LRG FIBER GALORE!)
Listed at $30000 by Kim Rassi & of Brooklyn Heights, OH
Alyssa is the daughter of the famous Accoyo Mcgwire, producer of many champions and rose greys. Alyssa is an exceptional half accoyo rose grey. She is full of endless fiber and I mean thick and soft, staple length of 3 inches on her legs! Her blanket fiber is crimped from skin to tip and showing a wonderful hand - good for making high quality yarns. Alyssa's blanket has great density, shearing 6+ lbs soft blanket! Alyssa's frame is solid as a rock with straight legs that are massively covered to the ground with thick fiber. Her topline is level, her bite is perfect, and her temperment is exactly what we wanted - at 165 lbs. she's an easy keeper. Her dam is a medium rose grey import female that is still holding microns in the low 20's at 14 years of age. You won't believe what you see in Alyssa, blue ribbon winner at the Michigan Alpacafest, half accoyo, rose grey producer! Alyssa's breeding to 5Peruvian Socosani, our full Peruvian grey stud, was a match made in heaven... med rose grey male cria ... 4th at the 2009 Futurity at 6 months old....repeat this breeding ASAP! Nice female cria born from repeat breeding. Her name is Cracklin Rosie and you can see her on this AN site. Fleece quality on this female is tops! Alyssa sells with her appy male cria at side, he is a super good looking male with the same great coverage and frame as Alyssa, plus his fleece is an upgrade over the dam which is exactly what we were looking for. His name is Silver Surprise (can you guess what color you see and then what is actually at the skin?) If he does not sell with his dam he will enter our junior herdsire program. I will be taking him out to some local PR events since he has that adorable teddy bear face and look, plus the feel if his fleece is so exceptionally soft. Alyssa has been rebred to Silver Sterling for a 2011 cria so this is a 3 in one package for you! Superb quality, champion alpacas.
