AYSEN'S CARTIER
Dark Fawn, 804828, Full Chilean
Cartier came to us with her pal Alice. She's a delightful fawn female who will fit in beautifully with your herd. She will be bred in early September 2007. Her price included a free rebreeding to a herdsire of your choice at our farm!
Summer Rain was given her name when her previous owner went out to the paddock on a warm but rainy summer morning to check on her herd. There beside a new mom stood a beautiful little cria who was then aptly named "Summer Rain". Summer's blanket is dense and silky soft and although she's registered as a "pattern", her blanket is a rich, uniform solid dark brown to bay black in color. We have no doubt that Summer can produce high quality offspring when bred to the right male. This year, Summer gave birth to baby Guinness on June 11,2007. He's almost identical to his beautiful mother. Now bred to a gorgeous true-black male from the West Coast, we got another beautiful cria for 2008. See Hakuna Matata's listing or visit him at Moore Brook Farm Alpacas in Salisbury, CT. A yarn customerof ours has labeled her color as "Mink". And that pretty much sums it up. A beautiful rich color with a lovely sheen. And she produces gorgeous cria. Although SUPER-DENSE, Summer is a protective mother and can be a challenge to work with wiht cria at side! If you're up for a challenge, this is your girl. When not protecting her offspring with her LIFE, Summer is a sweet girl and would be an excellent PR alpaca. She can be bred to the herdsire of your choice at our farm at no additional charge. I'd suggest Jasper to bring out the gray genetics and super-crimpy fiber.
