Bess

Light Brown, 3/8 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/8 Other/Unknown

Bess is abeautiful 1/2 Peruvian,3/8 Chilean dam. She had her first cria in October '05, Danika-Demi. Danika-Demi was sold right after she was listed! Danika has a very typy face. September '06, Bess gave us a beautiful male cria, Fionn MacCumhaill (Finn McCool). His sire is Silver Tunder from A Little Slice of Heaven. We are very pleased with both of the cria Bess has given us!!!
Take a look at Bess's beautiful full top knott, it sets her apart from the rest of the herd. Bess is one of our production females and not for sale.. she is curious, and one of the first to greet the farm visitors. She has Peruvian Pisarro bloodlines.

  LRA Silver Thunder
Medium Silver Grey, 847513, Full Chilean

Silver Thunder has joined my line-up of herdsires this year. I recently purchased Thunder from Laurel Ridge Alpacas in Oregon to add a west coast bloodline to the Midwest. He has a strong grey lineage. Out of 14 ancestors listing color on his registration certificate, 10 of them are grey, 3 are black and only one is dark brown. His dam is LRA Serenada, a true black that has thrown two silver grey crias so far. His sire is the well known ATV Platinum Prince, who continues to produce fantastic award winning babies. He has sired 13 crias, of which 9 are grey and 4 are black. No other colors, out of dams that were white, fawn, medium brown, grey and black. This is one of the main reasons that I chose Thunder over some other equally exceptional grey males. I don't expect many surprises out of him when breeding for grey.

Thunder's conformation is superb and he has outstanding presence. His coverage is exceptional, especially for a grey. Check out those legs! His fleece c

Always curious, vigorous and extremely alert as a cria, Fionn is now well respected by the males and delights the visitors. Fionn has beautiful dark brown fleece with black tipped ears, feet and around his eyes. We found this 11# 1 oz new cria in the corral a month earlier than expected, but he was walking, nursing and as vigorous as any full term cria. In short he was amazing, and has continued to be amazing. Fionn has a personality that draws every visitor's attention.
His lineage includes: ATV Platinum Prince, Peruvian Fidel and Peruvian Pizarro

Fionn is such a rich color that our farm visitors pick him out right away. Total coverage on this boy. His fiber is soft and crimped. Call today to see The Mighty Fionn! We would love to have you visit and be happy to send you a fiber sample.
