MacMaster's first daughter, Maravilla arrived 9-19-06. Mother, Miss Marilyn and Mara are doing well. Mac's girl is a medium fawn, vicuna patterned beauty! Looks like she's got MacMaster's head which really turned a lot of human heads at Mapaca! She got lots of dense knotty fiber and crimp, she was up in 10 minutes, nursing shortly after that and very energetic. She will recieve the Mallon desensitization treatment to assure she's an easy handle.

MacMaster came through with another Mapaca Ribbon! 2005- Judge Tim Lavan commented on Mac's staple length, uniformity and fineness and his squareness. Mac was dusty from rolling in Catskill dirt for the last couple of weeks, so unfortunately that counted against him, but nonetheless, we walked away with a 3rd place out of six beautiful beige alpacas at the world's largest alpaca show! Mac placed third at Mapaca 2004 with Mike Safley. Mac's silent auction breeding was won by "Double E Alpacas" of Bethel, NY, owner Brandon B

Major Tom is our farm favorite. He has dense lightly crimped fiber with excellent staple length that has developed into a gorgeous glowing deep brown. He has no white spot, but may have a small fawn spot on his hip, which we noticed after shearing.

Tommy is accepting of human touch. He halter trained easily and willingly at 2 months of age. He is a joy to work with, is respectful of humans, but is hopeful that he will get their attention!

Due to recent breeding decisions, Tommy was gelded. He is ready to be a companion, fiber animal, or performance animal to someone who can provide a good home.
