Maroon.... Maroon.... Maroon.... Plus this girl has Confidence, Presence, Confirmation, and wonderful fiber rich in ... Maroon color. Great Mom with lots of milk. Her 2001 cria, Liberty, a Dark Silver Gray with NO WHITE - was the Highest Selling Juv (2nd highest selling alpaca) at the National AOBA Auction in 2002.

Her 2002 cria is an incredible Maroon Herd Sire named Tambourine Man. He is standing at stud for Shawn Tackas at The Treasury Suri Farm.

Francesca's next cria is a gorgeous Med Silver Gray by Peruvian Silver Marquis. Her name is Shimmer and you can find her on BenchMark Alpacas own page. She is truly breathtaking!

The picture of Francesca labeled - "Very Pregnant" Was taken days before her Shimmer's delivery and she was she was anxious to deliver as well.

Francesca just delivered her Accoyo Kalvin cria and she is another beauty! We will be breeding Francesca to Gunsmoke's Perucoyo Sundance for a 2006 cria.

Shakespeare is a solid boy in a rich Maroon color -- which isn't even on the ARI color Chart. He is producing 100% suri offspring and 100% color. He has even pulled black from a white Dam.

In our experience, Maroon is dominate and can pull color from much lighter animals. We also find that it is tied to Black and Gray. Braveheart - the Maroon cria pictured here, is from Autumn, our Med Fawn Dam. This year, Autumn delivered a True Black by Shakespeare. His name is Sharpshooter and he is posted on his own page as well.

His bloodlines are strong being a son of Peruvian Silver King and the brother of Silver Marquis!
