Light Brown, 1019551, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Lyra has incredibly soft, dense, crimpy rich light brown fleece. Royal Fawn is grandsire on dad's side and dad is a multiple blue ribbon winner from proven grandsire - Altiplano Gold. She's a great Mom with a sweet disposition. Last year she produced Blue Ribbon Black Woods Polaris, an incredibly crimpy male with dense white fleece.
Lyra gave birth to Black Woods Braddock on Sept. 20, 2006! Braddock is a rich mahonany brown, with darker coloring on his face and ears. He's very solidly built and certainly has a zest for life! Congratulations Ruiz and Lyra!!

We're very pleased with Ruiz's first offspring- Black Woods Braddock, blue ribbon winner at the 2007 NECC from a large class of yearlings. Braddock has gorgeous dark brown, maroon colored fiber on his well built frame.(And yes,it is MAROON, just got this year's yarn back and it is beautiful!) Nice typey head with perfectly shaped almond ears. He has matured nicely this winter and will be ready to breed to your girls this fall. Braddock carries himself with great presence, visitors of the farm are instantly drawn to him. He would make a great stud to add fineness and color to your herd.

Great bloodlines! Evander is grandsire on Dad's side and Mom has contributed Altiplano Gold and Royal Fawn lines. Imagine how Braddock could improve your herd.

Braddock's first cria has hit the ground running! A Beautiful rose gray female out of our full Chilean rose gray girl Carajia! Couldn't be happier! Great job Braddock!!:) We were so happy with this mating we've rebred and are expecting a new Braddock cria Sept 2010!
