Acero Marka's Tess
White, 161161, Bolivian
Tess is a full Bolivian, white female imported to Canada directly from the Acero Marka ranch in Bolivia. She has produced beautiful, lustrous crias, and she has passed those genetics onto Trixie!
Acero Marka's George
White, 161279, Bolivian
George is 1/2 owned by Gail Campbell of Ameripaca Alpacas, and 1/2 owned by a Canadian partner. George resides on the farm in Canada, so his genetics have been used in the U.S. only on a limited basis. In fact, George has only 31 crias registered in the U.S. and only 9 of those have been males!
Trixie is out of Acero Marka's Tess and one of Ameripaca's finest - Acero Marka's George. Trixie's genetics are rare as both her sire and dam live in Canada, and George is used only on a limited basis here in the States.
Trixie has a fine fleece (skin biopsy shows average micron of 22 at 6 yrs of age and an S/P ratio of 10.25:1) and produces crias with well defined locks. She exhibits luster and density (skin biopsy results show density of 48 follicles/sq mm), and a very pleasing head with solid conformation. She has maintained her fineness, which we consider to be a critical component of any seed stock breeding program, and definitely hard to find!
We bred Trixie to our Futurity winner LCA Boots in 2011 and she just had her offspring - Salt River's Hot Tamale - what a stunner - "Hottie" has uniform locks across her body, luster everywhere, and coated in fiber from top knot to toes! We are thrilled and will keep Hottie in our breeding program. So, Trixie is now ready for your farm. We have bred Trixie to our new herdsire, Suri Lane's Lucian, for a Fall, 2013 offspring.
