Brandi is a sweet girl and a great mom. She has wonderful conformation, with a good bite, density, and crimp. Her last cria was so crimpy at birth he looked like he had a perm. Brandi is currently bred to one of our newest full- Peruvian, black males. San Marco is everything you want in a breeding male. Strong conformation, with some of the biggest bone we have seen, very typey head, great density, and wonderful crimp. He comes from a long line of strong blacks, as his grandsire is the very well known Mariah Alpacas, El Negro (Inca).
**** Well our wishes came true! Brandi delievered an AMAZING female cria with San Marco. The color is very unique, she is a taupy brown, with a gray face! She is a good sized girl with a wonderful fleece. She has to be to the woolest cria we have ever had!!! She was so wooly it was hard to find her teets to count during her newborn cria exam! She also had San Marco VERY large bone! We are so pleased with this pairing that we have decided to keep the cria and sell Brandi bred back to San Marco! We will board Brandi free of charge until her cria is weaned!
