Nova's Black Knight III is a magnificant true black male, one of the finest sons of his multi-champion father, Snowmass Nova (see photo). His strong black and grey genetics are amplified by his ancestry - Bueno, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Drambuie, Zorro PC 188, and Black Knight PC G222 (the latter being two of the finest black males to be imported into the U.S.). His fleece excels in fineness, brightness, handle, character, and uniformity, not to mention his remarkable fiber bundling, very unusual for a black with his fineness. His fleece rivals many top quality white fleeces.
Black Knight III's conformation and bite are excellent, and he has a sweet, calm temperament. He placed 1st and Reserve Black Male Champion at the 2004 All American Futurity beating 4 other Nova sons, all of which placed at the top of their classes.

Bella Vida is my pride and joy. She is a sweet and loving alpaca who enjoys human contact and is ANXIOUS to become a mama!
Her 2008 fleece was certified sorted and graded (as rose grey) and following are the results: Blanket grade 2 (34 oz); Neck grade 2 (19 oz); Lower leg, belly & apron (28 oz); a 4" staple; with high frequency, medium amplitude crimp. Within the alpaca fiber industry, a grade 2 equates to "superfine", or, 20 - 22.9 microns. Her fleece would make wonderful yarn or garments to be worn "next to the skin"!
Bella has black fibers in her fleece and because of that and her black sire, Nova's Black Knight III, she has high potential for producing black cria when bred to black. Her dam Sistema, who was beige, produced black once when bred to black and produced Bella the second time bred to black.
Bella is being leased by Windrush Alpacas of Clovis, NM, (transferred from Llano Soleado Alpacas) and bred to an outstanding male, Snowmass Black Passion.
