We simply cannot sing the praises of El Segundo de Royal Fawn enough, but we are content to not overly hype him. His kids provide enough hype all on their own to satisfy us. Segundo sired the 2003 Female Light Color Champion, who took those honors at both MAPACA and again at AOBA Nationals. Both ScF Mercurio and HHF Segundo's Sonatina are banner winners from their 2006 spring show debuts. Segundo's color palette largely is determined by the dam -- he has produced many true black offspring who have done well in the show-ring, a multiple blue-ribbon winning dark silver gray male owned by our friends at Starry Night Alpacas and, of course, he does fawns beautifully!
Great girl with great luster, crimp and coverage. Vella is 1/4 Accoyo which she comes by from her grand sire Royal Fawn. This girl is a wonderful mother who has had four trouble free births, and you can check out all her cria here on our website. Sir Titus a NAAS 4th place winner (Unproven Herdsires for Sale) and a Bueno Daughter "Red Barn" Daisey (Foundation Female Alpacas) and a Girl by Caligula's Peruvian Paragon named Beautilful Betty (Foundation Female Alpacas). This year she has produced a white male which exhibits all of the characters of Betty only in white (Square, beautiful head, density, coverage and fleece character,with very few guardhairs). If you are just starting in the alpaca business Vella would make an excellent first purchase, what knowledge you are lacking she more than makes up for in experience. In addition, when bred to quality males Vella can produce show quality stock. It is with great hesitation that we place Vella for sale, and the only reason we are doing so is because we own both of her daughters
