Meet "Peanut" She is one of those easy easy girls that you just love to have in the herd. She has beautiful form, awesome leg coverage, and very soft very shiny fiber. I would guess that comes from her being 3/4 alianza, ad a dash of color (in fact she is best described as an ID ) and you have Peanut, A Bueno and Palomo grandaughter. She has tons of grey (not white) throughout her neck, and has black in her lineage. Peanut is in my opionion the best mother I have ever observed. I have seen her go from newborn to newborn while they sleep making sure they were ok,and even assisting other newborn in getting up after being born by putting her nose under thier chest and gently lifting them to steady them. I do love Peanut and she has won my heart. We bred Pnut to our Royal Gold. Wow! what a heart throb! A solid grey(no matter what WHIM the judges/show book may choose to call them at the time) little beauty. We named her Heart of Gold. She is smokey smokey grey, with tiny crimp much like her sire. This was a magic breeding! We repeated it, and we are so excited that we now know that Royal Gold continues to not only improve fleece by a mile or two, but seems to throw the color of the mother! This is very exciting!!!
