Knight of Camelot has perfect conformation, heavy bone, a good bite, and a wonderful, soft handle to his fine, crimpy, very lustrous, uniform black fleece. Sunset Fields Black Magic Woman (Bright True Black)
This beautiful girl is the alpaca we have been breeding for. Solidly conformed, with good bone and bite, Black Magic Woman is covered with scrumptuous true black fleece. Very bright, with high frequency crimp and nice architecture, she's everything we hoped for, including non-fading black! Sired by our award winning TB Knight of Camelot, she also has a sweet temperament. Black Magic Woman is going to be an asset to any black breeding program, and we repeated this breeding with her dam!
Unfortunately we discovered the new male we had been breeding her to for a year and a half had no sperm, so we lost time. We bred her with our visiting notable, Vintage Sterling Silver for June 2011, and BMW gave us a gorgeous DSG girl we named Jazzy! Jazzy was born late last spring, so we did not rebreed Black Magic Woman. She is a textbook mother, and we have a winning male picked out for her for spring 2012!
