| | | Rich mahogany with black points, pretty Caoba comes from a true black dam and medium fawn sire. She has wonderful confirmation and presence and her fleece is dense with bold crimp. This girl has a very friendly personality and is the first to line up to nibble carrots from our hands. An exemplary proven mom, Caoba has just given birth to Chatham Alpacas REVSON, her 05 cria. He is a rich Chocolate Brown boy out of the the award winning Evander son, Riddick owned by Spruce Ridge Farm. Caoba is an excellent foundation animal and a pleasure to have on the farm. Caoba's 04 cria is a young champion named Gypsy Del Reino who took Blue's and Reserve Championships in the shows in which she was entered. | |

| | | Stunning medium fawn, full Peruvian. Winner of multiple blue ribbons and 3 Reserve Championships. Judges consistently comment on how soft and dense his fleece is. His CV of 16.0 indicates the consistency of his fleece as well. Excellent brightness to his incredibly crimpy, dense fleece. Crimp all the way up his neck. Started settling females before he was two years of age. His Peruvian genetics are still somewhat rare as his sire and grand sire (Inca's Ransom) together have less than 35 offspring registered with ARI as of September 2004.
Riddick's first crias are on the ground and the fiber is stunning. Lots of crimp and very dense. Beautiful heads.

REVSON was named for Charles Revson who founded the cosmetic company Revlon. Mr. Revson was quite a character, and so is Revson. A very friendly, fiesty, smart boy, he manages to steal all the treats and is first in line for food and anything interesting except shots..
Revson has an extremely lustrous dense fleece with a fine handle. This, according to Judge Amanda VandenBosch, who awarded him a Blue Ribbon at The North American Alpaca Show in March 07. He has that exciting big boned presence and "typey look" which commands attention. He is either viewed as Bay Black or Dark Brown, depending on the show he is in and the light he is under. His lineage is exciting as well. He is decended from Riddick, a handsome full Peruvian son of Evander, and Caoba, the daughter of Peruvian Challenger. (Caoba is a richly colored female who has produced beautiful award winning offspring).
